Unlio
Overview
Unlio is a platform for organizing and participating in initiatives.
It provides a shared space where people can define a goal, coordinate action, and document progress over time.
An initiative may begin as an idea and develop into concrete outcomes outside the platform.
Initiatives
Unlio is centered on initiatives.
An initiative defines a goal and creates a space for participation. Each initiative has its own scope, participants, and activity.
People and organizations can participate in different ways, including:
- taking action
- contributing knowledge or resources
- expressing support or opposition
- following progress
Initiatives operate independently. Activity in one initiative does not automatically extend to others.
Participation
Participation on Unlio is public by default, but not personally identifiable.
Activity is scoped to a single initiative. By default, participation in one initiative is not publicly linked to participation in another.
When identity or representation is relevant, participants can choose to share additional information or link their activity to a profile. These choices are made separately for each initiative.
Trust and Privacy
Unlio supports optional identity verification.
Verification enables additional capabilities where higher-trust interaction is required. It does not require public disclosure and does not change the default visibility of participation.
Information used to operate the platform, including identity and application data, is handled separately. Aggregated, non-identifying information may be displayed to provide context about participation.
Status
Unlio is currently in active development.
Access and availability will be shared as development progresses.
