Business contact privacy notice
What we process
Publicly available professional information about organizations, municipalities, civic cases, events, and people in public roles — typically from news articles, petition pages, and organization websites. We may record a name, public role, public email or phone, the source URL, and our own notes and assessments of the situation (not of you as a person).
We do not buy contact lists. We do not score people. We do not infer political opinions, religion, health, or other sensitive characteristics from public role facts.
Why
To research whether a real-world situation is relevant to 01HIO products and, where appropriate, to contact a publicly identified organizer or professional. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating our business (Swiss FADP).
Who sees it
01HIO staff on an internal admin tool. It is not exposed on Unlio or any public product API.
Processors
We may use Google Gemini to help summarize public sources. Search grounding is off unless deliberately enabled. Contact details are not sent unless the specific operation needs them.
How long
Active working records are kept while useful. Contact details on cases we never engaged expire after a configured window (currently 12 months). If you ask us not to contact you, we keep a minimal record so we can honour that.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, or deletion of contact details we hold about you, or object to further contact. Use the contact form. Objecting to contact is honoured; we keep only what is needed to suppress future outreach.
First contact
When we write to you, we say where we found the public information and include a link to this notice.
